We hope your windows are looking great after the first clean, please be aware that your second clean may be a few days off your exact chosen frequency as we sync you up with others on your road and in your area.
Below is a bit more info about how we work, if you have any concerns with any of the below, please get in touch:
First Cleans
There can on occasion be water marks on the windows after first cleans, especially if they haven’t been cleaned for a while or if your old window cleaner used a lot of soap.
If there is anything noticeable, just let us know and we will come and clean your windows again, free of charge.
How Often – We will visit every 1 or 2 months based on your chosen frequency. We kindly ask for flexibility of a few days either side of the exact date, to allow for delays due to bad weather, and for us to optimise our schedule with those on your road.
We will always text you the night before we are due, kindly asking you to provide access for the next day, unfortunately we cannot offer specific days or times due to the number of customers we serve and the fact that each day comes with its own uncertainties such as weather.
Access – Sometimes you may forget to leave the back gate unlocked for us to clean the rear windows, this is totally fine – we will try, within reason, to unlock the gate by reaching or laddering over, but if we cannot gain access to all windows, we clean what we can and charge the normal price for your clean.
(some people leave a Post-it note on their front door when they get our text!)
Bad Weather – Our pure water cleaning system cleans just as effectively when it is raining, so we will still come and clean in mild to moderate rain to provide you with great results. Rain only affects the results of traditional window cleaners as they use soap when they clean. Rain water clings to the soap residue causing imperfections, this is where the common misconception stems from. If the weather is too bad we will contact you to reschedule.
Payment – We have tried and tested many forms of payment and direct debit seems to be most effective for a business such as ours. You never have to worry about paying an invoice and we never have to chase payment. It is completely secure, you are protected under the direct debit guarantee and you will only ever be charged exactly what we invoice you via text, 5 days after we clean. Direct debit is our preferred method of payment.
Complaints Procedure – If for any reason you are not happy with the work we have carried out, please let us know within 48 hours and we will come and resolve it as soon as possible – astro-clean.co.uk/feedback .
Cancelling our Services – You are free to cancel the service at any point, simply drop us a message or give us a call. We can’t accept cancellations the night before we are due as by this point we have already allocated the resources to ensure your windows get cleaned on your chosen frequency.
Confidentiality – All customer information is kept on our secure database and is not discussed or shared with any individual or company, as is required under the terms and conditions of the Data Protection Act.
